自己编译的内核，安装 VMWare modules, 提示 Kernel headers not found

我使用自己编译的内核，安装 VMware Player，第一次启动 VMWare 提示需要安装 modules, Kernel headers for version 3.7.0-xxx not found.
如果是使用发行版自带的内核，那很简单，安装完 kernel header 相关的包就可以了。那自己编译的内核呢？kernel headers 是否在内核源码包里？在哪呢？

找到解决方案了，做一个软链接就行

ln -s /path/to/linux-3.7.0/include/generated/uapi/linux/version.h /path/to/linux-3.7.0/include/linux/version.h
